Feature Presentation: Elevate Your Coaching Practice
This session will provide coaches with a better understanding of how to leverage leader, team, and organization-level assessments to elevate their coaching results.
Coming out of this session, participants will have:
- Discover talent assessment basics, including the types of assessments and the various uses
- Explore key considerations for selecting the right instrument and how to incorporate assessments into one’s coaching practice3. Examine the pros and cons of some of the most commonly used assessments today while learning when to use them
- Learn about some lesser known assessments and when to use them
- Participate in a review and interpretation of one’s own assessment data, with a focus on applying the session’s concepts to evaluating the tool
Leveraging the power of assessments is the secret weapon in a coach’s arsenal. Assessments provide critical insights to maximize and accelerate your client’s growth and potential. Coaches who have a superior understanding and mastery of the assessment landscape and know how to select the right assessment for their client’s unique needs are able to deliver exceptional results. Deepening your knowledge in this space will elevate your coaching practice and give you a competitive advantage.
This interactive program will give participants the opportunity to benefit from the assessment expertise of Dr. Jamie L. Lewis. It is designed to provide best practices for selecting and using assessments to complement your coaching services. During the session, Dr. Lewis will introduce you to the different types of assessments available, discuss practical ways to incorporate assessment into your practice, the pros and cons of some of the most commonly used tools, and a number of lesser-known instruments will be introduced. Participants will have the opportunity to complete (complimentary) one of Pixel Leadership Group’s self-assessments to dive deeper into how assessment tools can be used for leader development while gaining personal insights about their own assets and liabilities as coaches.
