The ICF Cleveland Membership Committee is charged with facilitating ICF-Cleveland's achieving its membership strategy and objectives, as set by the Board, and which may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Membership levels / tiers;
Membership growth and retention; and
Member benefits and satisfaction.
Reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on membership data and trends;
Onboarding and welcoming of new members;
Engaging in ongoing discussions with the Board to determine membership data needed to further Chapter purposes; gathering necessary data; and analyzing and reporting on data, as necessary to facilitate Chapter decision-making;
Collaborating with the Programming Committee to greet and register members at Chapter events;
Utilizing the Chapter’s technology resources, including, but not limited to, the ICF-CLE website and any social media initiatives, to further the goals and functions of the committee;
Collaborating and cooperating with other ICF-CLE committees as necessary to promote Chapter objectives;
Making recommendations to the Board regarding goals, objectives, and policies relating to membership; and
Any other functions deemed necessary and proper by the Chair and Co-chair, and / or by the Board.
Our responsibility is to embrace both current and potential members through means of welcoming, on-boarding, and ongoing education about the opportunities which are available and how to take advantage of them and when meetings and additional programming events are happening. Membership Committee members serve as a liaison between our members and the Board of Directors. In addition, we actively promote opportunities for members to become more involved with ICF Cleveland through joining committees and attending Board meetings at their leisure.
